NEGOTIOLUM The Collegium Maius Museum Shop

The NEGOTIOLUM shop is located in the oldest Jagiellonian University building on the corner of Św. Anny and Jagiellońska streets. The shop was established in 2008. Collegium Maius is the current seat of the Jagiellonian University Museum, where visitors can behold many interesting exhibits related to the University's history and lives of renowned persons, like Nicolaus Copernicus and Fryderyk Chopin (the Copernicus' astronomical instruments reconstructed in the 20th century, the Moorish astrolabe from 1054, the Jagiellonian Globe from the early 16th century, the Chopin's piano, and many others). Five times a day, the playing clock presents a procession of historical figures, accompanied by a piece of 16th century dance music and the Gaudeamus Igitur. A recording with the playing clock is available at the NEGOTIOLUM shop. Additional items in the shop:

  • Souvenirs with the University logo
  • T-shirts, pens, porcelain, pottery, stationery products, jewellery with University, Collegium Maius and Cracow imagery
  • Postcards, maps, and globes
